As a third-generation member of a well-known Brabant family specializing in sewing machines, Inge launched her sewing machine business in 2019 after 35 years in the sewing machine industry. She opened her store exactly a century after her grandfather, Marinus Rijkers, started his business.

Inge believes that stepping out of your comfort zone and focusing on the distant and seemingly impossible are keys to achieving greatness. We are thrilled to learn more about her family legacy and entrepreneurial journey during an evening of discovery and inspiring storytelling.

From basic models to advanced sewing machines, Inge’s atelier offers sales, repairs, demonstrations, workshops, and more. This vibrant 318m² space focuses on creativity, offering sewing, embroidery, and cutting machine lessons. Whether you want to create your designs or turn your hobby into a business, Inge's atelier is the perfect place to start. Her store is designed like the Apple Store in New York, with workstations for everyone to test the machines.
